Description
3/16" 1x7 Guy Wire for Towers
This 1x7 guy wire offers excellent tensile strength and very little stretch and flexibility, perfect for applications involving tensioning and bracing. Constructed from Extra High Strength (EHS) grade steel, these steel cables are designed to add stability to antennas, towers, and free-standing structures.
It has a protective galvanized finish for added strength and protection from corrosive elements, and the 1x7 construction is the stiffest guy wire we carry. If you are looking for compressive force resistance or a little more flexibility, check out our 1x19 guy wire.
1x7 Guy Strand Configuration
Our guy wire is made using EHS-grade cable. EHS (Extra High Strength) refers to the strength of the material - its tensile strength is around 40% greater than the HS grade, improving the overall break strength. It also has a galvanized finish for corrosion-resistance.
The class of this cable is 1x7. The second number refers to the number of wires in the single strand - in this instance, it would be 7 wires.
