1" tie down straps are ideal for use as motorcycle straps due to the narrow, easy-to-handle width and range of available options.
Tie down straps for securing a motorcycle for transports are available in two general types: a ratchet strap or a cam strap. While it's generally a matter of personal choice, there are a few differences between the two that are worth noting. See the differences in this video, as well has how to thread a ratchet strap and how to thread a cam buckle strap.
Motorcycle Straps Hardware
Hooks on motorcycle straps will vary, but generally coated S-hooks or double-J hooks are the best choice because the vinyl or rubber coating reduces the chance of scratches or dings on painted surfaces. Hooks also make it easy to secure straps if you're using a tie down rail system like L-track or E-track.
Motorcycle Straps Webbing
Polyester webbing is the best choice for motorcycle straps because of its ability to resist stretching, even when wet. Because it absorbs very little water, polyester motorcycle tie down straps also will not mold, mildew, or rot. The polyester fabric is also resistant to abrasions and degradation from the sun's UV rays. We offer several colors of 1" webbing, so it's ideal for coordinating with a motorcycle brand logo, trailer colors, etc.
