Reverse Ratchet Straps

Reverse-action ratchet straps are designed to make load securement safer and easier. It tightens in the opposite direction as a traditional ratchet, meaning you pull down instead of push up, and requires less effort to tighten the strap.

Ergonomic Ratchet Construction

The feature that makes these ratchets so innovative is an additional gear.

It allows you to pull the ratchet handle down using your arms and body weight instead of pushing up with your back, neck, and shoulders. Along with supporting better posture, this also ensures you have firm footing while tightening. This is particularly important in bad weather, like when it's icy or snowy.

Reverse-Action Ratchet Strap Leverage: 2x Tensioning Power

Another benefit of this gear-driving ratchet is you don't need as much effort to tighten the strap. We tested this claim in-house and found that it's possible to get nearly twice as much tension on the strap with equal or less effort when measured against one of our standard ratchets!

The construction also provides more gear clicks when the handle is in motion, resulting in increased control over strap tension.

Quick Webbing Release

Additionally, our reverse-action ratchet straps come with a side knob that streamlines webbing take-up and release. It lets you spin the mandrel to quickly take the slack out of the straps, saving you time and effort.
