Our domestically manufactured wire rope is engineered for strength, reliability, and compliance. Whether you need high break strength, abrasion resistance, or corrosion protection, our domestic steel cable delivers consistent performance for rigging, lifting, construction, and industrial use.
Every rope meets the latest revision of RR-W-410, and many also meet ASTM A1023 standards.
Domestic Steel Cable Finishes
Our U.S.-made wire rope comes in two primary finishes: bright and galvanized.
- Bright: Uncoated steel treated with a light lubricant. This reduces friction and provides minimal protection against corrosion, ideal for indoor or controlled environments.
- Galvanized: Coated with a zinc layer using a drawn galvanizing process, not electroplating. This offers excellent corrosion resistance with no loss in strength, matching the break strength of comparable bright wire rope.
Both finish types are available across our domestic wire rope line, so you can choose the right protection and performance for your application.
