Description

2" x 18’ ratchet strap with flat hooks. This 2" wide green polyester webbing has black stenciled lettering and black flat hooks. The coated hooks are designed with defenders under the strap to reduce abrasions to the fabric at the point of contact. Your polyester webbing is also weather resistant, so it can hold up in wet conditions. Your ratchet has a wide handle and a protective zinc coating. This flat hook ratchet strap is available in a variety of lengths, including a 30’ ratchet strap lengthfor more extensive tie down applications. Meets or exceeds WSTDA guidelines; sewn-in tag lists working load limit information.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
