2" x 27' Tie Down Strap with Ratchet

Easily tie down your cargo with this reliable ratchet strap. The weather-resistant polyester webbing has a defender where the hooks connect to protect the strap from wear, and the zinc-coated ratchet component is corrosion-resistant. For easy visibility, the webbing is yellow with black stenciling.

This ratchet strap features flat hook end fittings - we also carry straps with a variety of other end hardware, including grab hooks, snap hooks, and E-track fittings.

Our tie down straps meet or exceed DOT and WSTDA guidelines and are labeled with working load limit information.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."

Light weight webbing

I used 15 (black webbing) straps on a 1700 mile trip, 7 of the straps are junk. The webbing came apart on the edges and ripped at the hook end. I think the material is to light weight. I will definitely try the heavy duty straps next time.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, we appreciate it! I am sorry to hear these straps didn't work out for you. We would love to help you find the right straps for your needs and work with you to replace these. Give us a call at (866) 444-9990, email at customerservice@uscargocontrol.com or by replying to the email we sent when it is convenient for you and we will get you taken care of!
