Description
These 2" x 18’ ratchet straps feature abrasion-resistant polyester webbing that resists water absorption, stretching, and UV rays, so it's an excellent choice for a variety of tie down jobs. The ratchet assembly has a protective zinc finish and a wide design with a smooth handle for a comfortable grip. The black flat hooks are coated for protection and also feature a defender to protect the webbing from excessive wear. These flat hooks can be a strong choice for securing your cargo on trucks, trailers, and other cargo carries. However, we have ratchet straps with other end fittings also available. You can get ratchet straps with s-hooks, snap hooks, ratchet straps with J hooks, and more. Yellow with black stenciling. All of our ratchet straps are labeled with the working load limit information and meet DOT and WSTDA guidelines.

Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
