This 2" x 8' ratchet strap style is sometimes known as an automotive ratchet strap or motorcycle strap. The snap hooks on this strap clip into anchor points and lock into place. This snap hook ratchet strap boasts an assembly break strength of 6,000 lbs. It is designed with black 12,000 pound break strength polyester webbing, two heavy-duty flat snap hooks, and a wide-handled ratchet that's easy to tension quickly. All hardware has zinc coating for protection and corrosion resistance to give you long-lasting capability. All of our ratchet straps meet or exceed WSTDA and DOT guidelines and are labeled with working load limit information.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
