Pewag's universal load binder is perfect for your heaviest loads. When combined with 3/8" grade 120 chain, it can easily keep large equipment and other robust loads securely in place from point A to point B.
Grade 120 Ratchet Binder Construction
This ratcheting chain load binder is manufactured with grade 120 alloy steel to offer superior strength, making it an excellent choice for a range of industrial, agricultural, and other heavy-duty tie down jobs. It has forged steel eye bolts, a steel barrel, and a cast handle assembly; all hooks and links are heat-treated to rugged G120 chain standards.
The double action pawl allows you to tighten or loosen in either direction, and it's spring-loaded to ensure the pawl stays secured in place. Fitted with short reach hooks for maximum take-up, and a blue finish indicates grade 120 construction.

The primary difference between a ratchet binder and a lever binder is the tensioning method. A ratchet binder a ratcheting mechanism instead of leverage to add tension. This is by far the safer option - they store very little kinetic energy in the handle, reducing recoil and snapback-related injuries. They also allow for better control over the tension, as you can make more incremental adjustments, and don't require a handle lock.
