Description

9,200 lbs. Ratcheting Chain Binder

Ratchet chain binders are a staple of the trucking and transportation industry. They are used to tension transport chain, keeping your load securely anchored to a flatbed or other trailer. Typically used for heavy equipment and other more robust loads, chain binders help get cargo from point A to point B safely.

Grade 70 / 80 / 100 Ratchet Binder Construction

This ratchet load binder has a forged carbon steel body and handle. The forged steel is more durable than a cast handle - it can withstand much more force without breaking and ensures maximum leverage. Ours uses slightly larger threads than most of our competitors as well for a more heavy-duty hold.

The cam and pawl allow for a smooth ratcheting operation, and the grab hooks on each end create secure attachment points - their shallow throats are readily compatible with chain links.

The long-lasting, scratch-resistant powder coating is added using an electrostatic process. This involves high temperatures (approximately 270 degrees) which ensures heat-resistance as well.

Why Choose a Ratchet Load Binder?

The primary difference between a ratchet binder and a lever binder is the tensioning method. A ratchet binder a ratcheting mechanism instead of leverage to add tension. This is by far the safer option - they store very little kinetic energy in the handle, reducing recoil and snapback-related injuries. They also allow for better control over the tension, as you can make more incremental adjustments, and don't require a handle lock.

Ratchet Binder Industry Compliance

All of our chain binders are FMCSA / DOT compliant and meet or exceed WSTDA T-6 Recommended Standards. The working load limit and traceability code are embossed on the handle / body and the hooks have grade and size markings. This ensures quick identifications and stress-free inspections.

Affordable Land Management
Great Binders!!

I purchased five to tie down my mini x. They are strong and the paint is tough. Work flawlessly even after some time in the rain and elements. As always keep them lubed with a little WD. But great binders they are at an affordable price.
