When you receive custom cargo nets from US Cargo Control, you can be rest assured they are made with quality in mind. A strong, tough net can make a difficult job easier and is useful when transporting items like moving couches across town, wine crates across states, and heavy cargo across the nation.

This product can secure items to prevent them from shifting, allowing you to continue with your day with no worries. Heavy-duty custom cargo nets are one of our specialties, and we can design the perfect net for your job. We sat down with one of our experts, Jamie Noe, to learn how the Cargo Net team creates high-quality cargo nets.

Watch the video below to get a glimpse of what cargo nets are:

How to Get Started with a Custom Cargo Net?

The process is simple. If you know what you're looking for in a cargo net, you can fill out our form and request a quote on our website. If you're not sure what you need, you can give our team a call at 888-794-1319 and we'll make it smooth as possible.

As you go over the specifications with one of our teammates, we'll review the requirements and provide you with an accurate quote. We'll go over the different styles that you can choose such as webbing, color, dimensions, hole sizes, and hardware. We'll also sketch a grid drawing to check if the dimensions are accurate.

After we review the overall purpose of your net, its selected styles, and its dimensions, we send the information to our cargo net experts.

What If My Custom Cargo Net's Specifications Don't Work?

Don't worry, our team will make sure every detail is correct. The team will input the whole size, webbing, and additional information to confirm specifications. After that, we pass the information over to the Manufacturing team to create the most successful cargo net for you.

The Process of Creating the Perfect Customized Cargo Net

When the form is complete and given to the Cargo Net team, one of our experts will have 24 hours to create a spreadsheet and find the hardware. They connect with our production planner to identify parts that we can pull from our warehouse. Once the hardware is in the team's hands, it's time to start production!

How the Webbing Design Works

Cargo Net weaving process

Each custom net is hand-made by working the webbing and using sewing machines to perform precise stitch work. The layout process involves weaving the webbing in an over and under technique. It's not just for looks, but we believe it will provide more strength at each cross-section. By performing the weaved appearance, our nets will look like and have better quality.

During the weaving process, this is how the hole sizes are created from the spreadsheet. Once the webbing is linked, this sets up the strength that you will need to secure your items.

Keep in mind that the different webbing listed in the form has different break strengths. The 1-inch’s strength is 4,500 lbs, and you can choose one of the 2-inch webbing that has a strength of 6,000 lbs or 12,000 lbs.

Then when complete, they are to be packaged and shipped to you. The Cargo Net team will perform quality checks and make sure everything is correct and complete before it's shipped.

Cargo Net Uses

Even though our heavy-duty custom cargo nets can secure cargo, you can utilize them for other purposes! We've created cargo nets for fire stations where firefighters use the nets to hold their hoses, as part of obstacle courses, and for businesses to secure their wine crates for transportation.
