4,400 lb. Hinged Vertical Lifting Clamp
M&W vertical plate clamps stand out from the competition due to their lack of a minimum load limit. When it comes to load size, most lifting clamps work best when your sheet is within 20% of the WLL to ensure a secure grip - but with the M&W clamps, you'll be able to lift material that lands anywhere along the working load limit range - from almost weightless to 1,100 lbs.
The hinged lug lets you place and lift the load from any angle. It can also be used to turn a plate from from vertical to horizontal or vice versa with a full 180 degree turning range.
With a non-welded construction made from premium alloys in the Unites States, these clamps are designed for superior performance. The camming stationary jaw automatically returns to the pre-load position after use, and the clamp can be used in temperatures anywhere from -40 to 170 degrees Fahrenheit. They can be used to lift materials with a surface hardness of up to 400 Brinell (43 Rc), and are set up so the clamp can be mounted without the operator needing to put their hands in the material's fall path.
