For exposed fastener roofing systems that demand both strength and color consistency, this ST Fastening #12 x 1-1/4" Maxx Steelbinder screw delivers reliable panel attachment with a Forest Green head finish. The self-drilling point allows for efficient penetration through metal panels, while the hex-washer head ensures balanced clamping pressure. Each 250-count box keeps installation moving across full roof sections.

These screws drove well into the steel purlins

I needed additional screws for my roof, and the building mfg wanted a small fortune. These were far less expensive, drove better and were an almost perfect match for my gray sheeting. The building mfg sent 2" screws when the design documents called out 1.25 inch screws. I hated those screws as they were very difficult to drive.
