Crosby Jaw and Jaw Turnbuckle | 1/2" x 12"
Turnbuckles are an essential rigging component. Used to adjust line tension, they are commonly used in tower, construction, and suspension applications, along with many others. When you choose trusted manufacturer Crosby for your turnbuckle needs, you can count on superior performance. Constructed from hot-dip galvanized steel for corrosion-resistance and durability, these heavy-duty turnbuckles can easily handle the demands of your jobsite.
Reinforced Crosby Turnbuckle End Fittings
The quenched and tempered or normalized end fittings are built to last and come with a modified UNJ thread, improving the fatigue properties. The jaws are fitted with bolts and nuts.
Superior Testing & Design
Another way Crosby ensures the longevity of their turnbuckles is through comprehensive testing and disciplined design. They go above and beyond the standard ASME B30.26 requirements - they also meet additional critical performance requirements such as fatigue life, impact properties, and material traceability. These turnbuckles also meet the performance requirements of Federal Specifications FF-T-791B, Type 1 Form 1 - CLASS 4 and ASTM F-1145 (excepting the provisions required of the contractor).
