Reinforced Crosby Turnbuckle End Fittings

The quenched and tempered or normalized end fittings are built to last and come with a modified UNJ thread, improving the fatigue properties. The eye fitting is elongated, simplifying the attachment process and minimizing eye stress. The jaw end is fitted with pins and cotters.

Another way Crosby ensures the longevity of their turnbuckles is through comprehensive testing and disciplined design. They go above and beyond the standard ASME B30.26 requirements - they also meet additional critical performance requirements such as fatigue life, impact properties, and material traceability. These turnbuckles also meet the performance requirements of Federal Specifications FF-T-791B, Type 1 Form 1 - CLASS 4 and ASTM F-1145 (excepting the provisions required of the contractor).

• Fatigue-rated to 20,000 cycles at 1-1/2 times the working load limit
• UNC-threaded body
• Lock nuts are not included with purchase - please call to order.
• The jaw end is the right thread fitting and the eye end is the left thread fitting.
• Note: Turnbuckles are only recommended for straight or in-line pulls.
