Every device is precision machine-formed steel. Getting the bottom plate fully flush in the hat channel is what locks it in place, so crews should kick it in completely (or finish the seat with the Kick Stops installation tool), a partially seated stop will slide instead of hold.
Based on the roughly 4 stops per load documented in Kick Stops' own case studies, a 50-count pack covers about a dozen trailer loads, each seeing an estimated 48% drop in dunnage cost and 20 fewer minutes of load time compared to standard dunnage.
