Lock Pallets Into the Hat Channel
The Kick Stops® Metal Floor Cargo Restraint Device secures pallets inside aluminum trailers by locking directly into the floor's hat channel, no wood or plastic decking required. Set the device's bottom plate flat against the channel, kick it home (or seat it with the Kick Stops installation tool), and the pallet is locked tight to the wall, bulkhead, or the next load in line.
Precision machine-formed from high-grade steel, the metal-floor device is built to seat flush in the hat channel. If it's not fully flush, the device will slide instead of hold, so a firm, complete kick (or a pass with the installation tool) matters more on metal floors than on wood. Once seated, it replaces the airbags, cardboard, and lumber bracing that otherwise fill an aluminum trailer.
