The 7/8" by 10' long wire rope sling has swage sockets fitted to each end. One end has an open socket with a pin that allows for another type of fitting. The other end has a closed swage socket that is designed to accept a bolt or pin. Having both an open and closed socket on different ends of your wire rope allows for different applications with your lifting and rigging. This type of swage socket sling has a working load limit of 7.96 tons, and it is very resistant to wire fatigue at the point where the socket and cable attach. Which socket slings are right for your project? Contact our sales specialists for more information. We have both spelter socket slings and swage socket slings with both open and closed socket options.
