Description
Description
Extra-long 50' strap in abrasion-resistant 12,000 lb. polyester webbing is fitted with two flat hooks for quick and attaching and detaching. Zinc-plated ratchet has a wide design and smooth handle; hooks feature a black finish for extra protection and also have a defender which creates an additional measure of protection for the webbing. Orange strap color makes it easy to coordinate vehicle, trailer or even logo colors for a great look. Our ratchet straps meet or exceed DOT and WSTDA guidelines, and are labeled with working load limit information.
Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
