Straightpoint Wirelink is a powerful cabled load cell that allows you to precisely weigh and dynamically monitor rigging setups to ensure safe and optimal tension levels. Unlike the Straightpoint Radiolink, which runs wirelessly using an internal antenna, Straightpoint Wirelink load cells use the included 32-foot wired cable in order to transmit data to a digital display output. There are many options for how you digitally display and view the output data including the Straightpoint Handheld Plus, PLCs, Data Acquisition systems (DAQ). Wirelink is also configured with a vast array of output formats including mV/V, RS-422, RS-485, utilizing the ASCII, MODBUS RTU and CAN-BUS protocols.
Common applications for these Wirelink Plus tension load cells include overhead weighing, testing, bollard pulling, tug testing, cable tensioning, and heavy lift. The Wirelink Plus is suitable for even the harshest of environments, as it allows the use of a separate internal sealed enclosure that provides the load cell's electronic components with IP67 or NEMA6 environmental protection. 1-ton to 500-ton rated Wirelink Plus loads cells are available, and we also offer additional load cell cables in various lengths.
