4 Leg Bridle Wire Rope Slings
Four leg wire rope slings are comprised of four lengths of wire rope that are connected at the top with a single oblong master link, resulting in a design that provides excellent load balance and control.
More durable than nylon bridle slings and more budget-friendly than chain slings, all of our 4 leg bridle wire rope slings meet or exceed standards and requirements from ASME B30.9 and OHSA 1910.184.
They are also inspected, certified and tagged with metal tags displaying capacity, care, and instructions.
4 Way Lifting Cables Construction
Designed using Extra Improved Plowed Steel (EIPS) with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), this sling is built to last. The bright steel finish includes a lubricant for basic corrosion-resistance, and the IWRC is resistant to crushing.
Depending on the diameter, the wire rope configuration may vary. For most 4 leg wire rope slings with a diameter of 1" or less, you will receive a 6x19 configuration. For larger wire rope, a 6x36 configuration is traditionally used.
With the traditional latched eye hooks at the end of each rope length, this 4 leg wire rope sling also features Flemish eye splicing, carbon steel sleeves, and thimbles in each eye to offer protection at the point of contact.

Calculating the Length of a Sling Leg
When measuring a domestic wire rope sling with multiple legs, do not include the oblong master - instead, measure the length of the sling leg to the loadbearing point of the hook or eye.
Sling Proof Testing Certificates
If your application requires proof testing certificates, let us know when you order! They can be supplied for a nominal fee Proof testing certificates can be supplied with your order for a nominal fee and must be requested at the time of order.
Each sling will be pull tested to 2x the vertical rating, with results being officially recorded as proof for governing bodies.
