UTV Tie Down Straps

ATV or UTV tie down straps are made from heavy-duty polyester or webbing to ensure a secure tie down and a long service life. Polyester is strong, with a low stretch factor, meaning your utility vehicle will stay in place for the entirety of your trip.

Generally only 1-2" wide, these UTV straps for trailers come with either a ratchet or a cam buckle tightening mechanism. While ratchets are faster to use and don't rely on operator strength to add tension, you do run the risk of over-tightening and potentially damaging your vehicle. Cam buckles are recommended if for more delicate or fragile cargo.

End Fittings for UTV Trailer Straps

You have a lot of flexibility when it comes to what kind of end hardware you use. You'll just need to make sure that it's compatible with the type of anchor point you are using, whether that's E-track, L-track, a D-ring, or something else.

Coated S-hooks are one of the more popular options, because the coating helps to reduce the chance of scratches or dings in your vehicle's paint.

Speaking of paint, you can color-coordinate your straps with your side by side! Choices include green, red, orange, even camo!

UTV Strap Working Load Limit

Make sure the working load limit (WLL) of the strap you choose is high enough to handle the weight of your utility vehicle. If a strap is used to secure a UTV heavier than the WLL, it could break, damaging the vehicle or hurting someone.
