Alex Ledger Named Chairman of SC&RA Allied Industries Group
Urbana, IA – April 27, 2026 — Alex Ledger, business development consultant for US Cargo Control, has been named chairman of the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association's (SC&RA) Allied Industries Group Governing Committee. Ledger previously served as vice chairman and will serve a one-year term in his new role.
Ledger's nomination was approved during the association's annual conference in Amelia Island, FL. He has been a member of the Allied Industries Governing Committee since 2019 and also serves on the SC&RA Transportation Safety Education & Training Committee. His appointment to chairman reflects his continued dedication to the specialized transportation and rigging industries.
US Cargo Control has been an SC&RA member for over 12 years, and Ledger has been with the company since 2014, accumulating more than a decade of industry expertise in his role as business development consultant.
Reporting to the Association Board of Directors, the Allied Industries Governing Committee's mission is to identify issues and recommend actions to benefit members with an interest in allied-related subjects, and to govern the actions of the Allied Industries Group.
