Stainless Steel Tie Down Straps
When your cargo securement needs to stand up to moisture, chemicals, and harsh environments, stainless steel ratchet straps provide the durability you can rely on. Built for marine and outdoor applications, these straps combine high-strength webbing with corrosion-resistant metal ratchet strap hardware to deliver long-lasting performance.
At US Cargo Control, our stainless steel options are engineered for professionals who need dependable ratchet straps with metal components that won’t rust or degrade over time. Whether you're securing loads in wet conditions or working in regulated industries, these straps are built to perform.
What Are Stainless Steel Ratchet Straps?
Stainless steel ratchet straps are tie-down straps equipped with ratchet mechanisms and end fittings made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Unlike standard tie downs, these metal ratchet straps are specifically designed for environments where exposure to water, salt, or chemicals is common.
The ratchet mechanism allows for precise tensioning, while the stainless steel hardware ensures long-term reliability without rust or corrosion.
Stainless Ratchet Strap Construction
Compared to our standard ratchet straps, the primary difference is the added moisture-resistance.
Type 304 Stainless Steel Hardware
Our ratchet mechanisms are crafted from high-quality type 304 stainless steel for corrosion-resistance. This makes them ideal for high-moisture environments, whether you're tying down jet skis or securing gear to boats.
Most of the end fittings are also made from stainless steel, so you won't have to worry about rusting hooks or clips. The one exception is our SS ratchet strap with vinyl-coated S-hooks - the vinyl coating helps to prevent scratching if it comes in contact with your cargo. This makes these a great choice for protecting your boat's paint job!
Moisture-Resistant Polyester Webbing
The polyester webbing used in our ratchet straps is designed to resist moisture, UV-rays, and abrasion. This makes them perfect for outdoor use, as they stay strong even after prolonged exposure to the elements.
Versatile Options for Any Application
Choose from 1" or 2" wide straps in 10' or 15' lengths to find the perfect stainless tie down strap for you.
Many of our 1-inch straps feature thumb ratchets for easy tightening and are perfect for light-duty applications, while the 2-inch straps offer additional strength for larger loads.
Assembled in Iowa
We take pride in assembling most of our stainless steel ratchet straps on-site at our Iowa facility. This allows us to maintain strict quality standards, ensuring each strap meets our rigorous requirements before it reaches you. This also means fast shipping!
Stainless Steel Ratchet Strap Safety Standards
Safety is paramount, and all our stainless steel ratchet straps are labeled with their working load limit to meet CVSA guidelines, DOT regulations, and WSTDA and North American Cargo Securement standards.
