Description
This 2 inch, abrasion-resistant polyester strap absorbs very little water so it won't rot or form mold or mildew, even when used in damp or water-based applications. The 12 foot length of this ratchet strap is versatile enough for a wide variety of jobs, and it has short wire hooks that work especially well if tie down points are shallow. The ratchet is zinc-plated for extra protection, and it has a wide design for a comfortable grip when tightening. This ratchet strap has double J hook end fittings, but you can also find ratchet straps with other end fittings like S-Hook ratchet straps. Our ratchet straps meet or exceed DOT and WSTDA guidelines and are labeled with working load limit information.

Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
