description
This 2 inch ratchet strap has a tough and durable orange polyester strap that resists water absorption so it won't mildew, rot, or stretch, even in the harshest outdoor conditions. This 12 foot ratchet strap has wire J hooks that are strong and can easily hook into a variety of tiedown points. Both ratchet and hooks are zinc-plated for extra protection. These tiedown straps give you a 3,333 pound working load limit. This double J hook ratchet strap comes in orange, but it is also available in other colors like a 2" x 12’ yellow J hook ratchet strap. Our ratchet straps meet or exceed DOT and WSTDA guidelines and are labeled with working load limit information.
Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
