The Crosby® G2130E Easy-Loc Bolt Type Anchor Shackle in 2-1/2" (55-ton WLL) replaces the nut, bolt, and cotter pin of a standard anchor shackle with a tool-less locking collar - built for demanding production rigging where install and release speed matter as much as capacity.

For crews making and breaking connections all shift, the seconds spent wrestling a nut and cotter pin onto a standard anchor shackle add up - and a dropped cotter pin at height is a hazard, not just an inconvenience. The Easy-Loc collar takes that loose hardware out of the equation.

How the Easy-Loc Tool-less Locking System Works

One-Handed Collar Design

Securing a standard bolt-type anchor shackle takes three separate pieces - bolt, nut, and cotter pin - plus at least one wrench. The Easy-Loc system replaces the nut and cotter pin with a locking collar that engages on the bolt by hand. Seat the bolt through the shackle eyes, engage the collar, and the connection is secured: no tools, no threaded nut to run down, and no cotter pin to bend, break, or drop.

Faster Release on Repetitive Rigging

Release is the same motion in reverse, and that is where the time compounds. On a setup that is rigged and de-rigged repeatedly, the crew is not stopping to hunt for a wrench or fish a replacement cotter pin out of the gang box. Because the collar is a discrete component, a worn or damaged collar can be swapped in the field instead of retiring the whole shackle.

Rated Capacity Is Unchanged

The Easy-Loc collar is a securing method, not a capacity compromise. This shackle carries its full 55-ton Working Load Limit, permanently marked on the body, at a 6:1 design factor.

Comparing Working Load Limits at the Same Pin Size

At the same 2-1/2" pin diameter, the G2140E line is rated for 85 tons versus this G2130E model’s 55 tons - match your selection to the required Working Load Limit, not just the pin size. The two lines also differ in grade (Grade 6 here versus Grade 8 performance on the G2140E) and in design factor (6:1 versus 4:1).

Compatible Easy-Loc Replacement Parts

2-1/2" Easy-Loc Replacement Collar

If the collar on an existing G2130E 2-1/2" shackle wears out or is damaged, USCC stocks the matching replacement collar separately - there is no need to replace the full shackle. Crosby uses the same EZ-Loc collar stock number on the same-size G2130E and G2140E shackles, so one collar covers both lines at this pin size.
