This USA-made 1" bright wire rope is built from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) and features a flexible 6x36 construction ideal for demanding applications that require frequent bending. Its Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) increases stability, making it a reliable choice for hoisting, suspension, winch lines, and structural rigging where long-term fatigue resistance is essential.

Offering more flexibility than 6x19 wire rope, the 6x37 class handles bending and movement without sacrificing strength. While it's slightly less abrasion-resistant, its performance in high-cycle operations is unmatched. The bright finish is treated with petroleum-based lubricant to reduce internal friction and provide light corrosion protection. This wire rope meets RR-W-410 and ASTM A1023 federal standards for structural integrity and load-bearing capacity.
6x37 Wire Rope Configuration
Our wire rope is made using EIPS-grade cable. EIPS (Extra Improved Plow Steel) refers to the strength of the wire rope - its tensile strength is around 10% greater than an IPS grade, improving the break strength.
The class of this wire rope is 6x37. These numbers nominally refer to the construction of the wire rope - the number of outer strands around the core and an estimation of the number of wires within each of these outer strands. so for a 6x37 class, the number of outer strands is 6, and the number of wires making up each strand can range from 27-49.
