Description

Domestic 3/4" 6x37 Bright Wire Rope - EIPS IWRC

Crafted in the USA from high-strength Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS), this 3/4" bright wire rope features a 6x36 construction for exceptional flexibility and fatigue resistance. The Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) provides increased internal support and durability under heavy loads, making this rope ideal for hoisting, winching, suspension, and high-cycle industrial applications.

Colored strands may appear in some domestic wire ropes for manufacturer ID or visibility purposes; these color variations do not affect assembly break strength.

High-Flex Wire Cable for Rigging, Lifting & Winching Applications

The 6x36 construction offers greater flexibility and better performance in applications with repetitive bending, compared to 6x19 rope. While slightly less abrasion-resistant, it excels in fatigue-critical tasks. The bright steel finish is treated with a petroleum-based lubricant to reduce friction and offer light protection from corrosion. This rope meets or exceeds RR-W-410 and ASTM A1023 specifications, making it a trusted option on any job site.

6x37 Wire Rope Configuration

Our wire rope is made using EIPS-grade cable. EIPS (Extra Improved Plow Steel) refers to the strength of the wire rope - its tensile strength is around 10% greater than an IPS grade, improving the break strength.

The class of this wire rope is 6x37. These numbers nominally refer to the construction of the wire rope - the number of outer strands around the core and an estimation of the number of wires within each of these outer strands. so for a 6x37 class, the number of outer strands is 6, and the number of wires making up each strand can range from 27-49. The construction of the rope you will be receiving is 6x36 - if you are looking for something different, please call.

Key Features

  • USA-made from EIPS-grade steel for higher tensile strength
  • 6x36 construction improves flexibility and fatigue resistance
  • Bright finish with petroleum-based lubricant for internal/external protection
  • IWRC design resists crushing and supports heavy dynamic loads
  • Compliant with RR-W-410 and ASTM A1023 performance standards
  • Ideal for high-cycle lifting, rigging, and suspension systems

Compatible Accessories for Full System Setup

Build out your rigging system with rugged wire rope fittings and heavy-duty rigging hardware like turnbuckles, shackles, and lifting eyes.
