Create strong and secure tie-down anchor points in your van, pickup truck, or trailer with our heavy-duty L-track. With a narrower profile than E-track that's perfect for walking and rolling wheeled cargo over, it's ideal for tying down items such as motorcycles, ATVs,  and utility tractors.

What Makes This Track Heavy-Duty?

This high-quality track has squared profile edges and a 6351 aluminum construction. The aluminum has a slightly higher tensile strength and is stiffer than the standard 6061-T6 aluminum. These two factors offer a more rigid track that can handle heavier-duty applications.

It's also designed for a more secure installation - the countersunk holes are every 4" instead of 5".

How Do I Install Airline L-Track?

Our track has pre-drilled holes that are compatible with our fastener pack, as well as many other common screws for convenient installation - 1/4", 6mm, or #12 fasteners.

For the strongest installation, we recommend bolting the fastener with a nut and washer (along with some Loctite). Wood screws and self-drilling screws can also be used, but won't be as strong.

• Versatile Accessories: We carry a wide range of L-track-compatible fittings (both single and double stud) and straps so it's easy to create the tie-down system you need. The straps connect directly to the track, while the fittings will work with any standard S-hook straps you have lying around. You can even request a custom cargo net with L-track fittings.
• Install Holes Every 4": 18 holes in track.
• Suitable for flush- and surface-mount installations.
• Unpainted: The unpainted aluminum finish looks sharp, but is also perfect for custom paint jobs - take it to an autobody shop so it will match your truck!
• Adaptable: If the length or hole placements don't work for you, this heavy-duty L-track can be cut or drilled. For cutting, use a hacksaw or chop saw with a carbide-tipped blade. For drilling, use a countersink bit with a carbide tip.

What's the Load Rating on This L-Track?

Due to the many variables involved in installing L-track - the fasteners used, the mounting surface, etc. - we cannot provide a blanket working load limit. The track is designed to be at least as strong as any of the compatible straps and fittings we sell to use with it, but it is up to the installer to determine that the track is properly installed to provide sufficient strength.
