Description
2 inch ratchet strap is fitted with wire J hooks. This wire hook ratchet strap works well with a variety of anchor points because of its short profile. The long, wide-handled ratchet is zinc-plated for protection, and the wire hooks are zinc-plated, as well. This strap is found in 24' length, but also available as a 2" x 27’ ratchet strap. Our ratchet straps meet or exceed DOT and WSTDA guidelines and are labeled with working load limit information.
Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
