2 inch ratchet strap features wire J hooks. These wire double J hooks have a shorter profile so they work well for a variety of anchor points. Wire hook ratchet straps offer you strength and versatility. The ratchet features a wide design with a smooth handle for easy tightening. Both the hooks and ratchet are zinc-plated for extra protection and longer working life. This strap is found in 24' length, but also available as a 2" x 27’ ratchet strap. Our ratchet straps meet or exceed DOT and WSTDA guidelines and are labeled with working load limit information.
Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
