2-1/2" x 14' Endless Single-Path Sling
A Single-Path high performance roundsling is a lightweight lifting solution that’s both strong and load-conforming. At less than 10% of the weight of comparably-sized wire rope or chain slings, it’s easier for riggers to handle and, because it’s made from synthetic materials, is ideal for fragile cargo
Sling Construction
Single-Path slings are made from one path of K-Spec® core yarn with a protective outer jacket. The load-bearing yarn was found to be the longest-lasting fiber currently on the market in an independent study and offers only 1% elongation at rated capacity, a characteristic that’s well-suited for low headroom applications.
The Covermax® jacket helps to protect the core fiber from damage and is created using two layers of industrial-grade nylon. This setup has more than four times the abrasion-resistance of polyester jackets.
Endless Single-Path Sling Repairability
A remarkable feature of these slings is repairability – if the sling’s jacket is damaged but the core yarn is unharmed, it can probably be repaired and put back into service.
To meet ASME guidelines and further expand the lifespan of your sling, check out our line of sling protection.
