Crosby® HR-1000 Swivel Hoist Rings
Crosby HR-1000 swivel hoist rings are designed for increased toughness to hold up in potentially harsh field conditions. Designed for heavy-duty lifting applications, the HR-1000 features a larger forged bail, alloy steel construction, and a full swivel design that automatically aligns with the direction of pull.
Unlike standard eye bolts, Crosby HR-1000 hoist rings maintain 100% of their working load limit from 0° to 90°, including side-pull applications. This makes them an ideal lifting point for machinery, molds, dies, fabricated components, and other heavy industrial loads where lift angles can change throughout the operation.
Why Choose Crosby HR-1000 Swivel Hoist Rings?
The Crosby HR-1000 is built for demanding lifting environments where durability and performance matter.
Key advantages include:
- 360° swivel rotation for improved load alignment
- 180° pivot movement toward the direction of pull
- Maintains 100% working load limit from 0° to 90°
- Rated for both overhead and side-pull lifting
- Quenched and tempered alloy steel construction
- Larger forged bail opening for easier rigging connections
- Individually proof tested to 2.5 times working load limit
- Fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1.5 times working load limit
- Meets or exceeds ASME B30.26 requirements
Designed for Safer Lifting
One of the biggest advantages of the Crosby HR-1000 is its ability to align with lifting forces during use.
The bail rotates 360° and pivots 180°, allowing the lifting point to position itself in line with the load. This helps reduce side loading and minimizes stress on the lifting hardware compared to traditional fixed lifting points.
Because the HR-1000 maintains its full rated capacity from 0° to 90°, it provides greater flexibility when performing lifts that cannot be completed in a straight vertical line.
Built for Heavy-Duty Industrial Applications
Manufactured from quenched and tempered alloy steel, Crosby HR-1000 hoist rings are designed to withstand demanding industrial environments and repeated lifting operations.
The larger forged bail opening provides additional clearance for hooks, shackles, and other rigging hardware, making it easier to connect lifting assemblies while improving versatility on the job.
Common applications include:
- Machinery installation and relocation
- Tool and die handling
- Mold lifting
- Heavy equipment maintenance
- Fabrication and manufacturing operations
- Industrial assembly projects
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the HR-1000 differ from the Crosby HR-125?

Does the Crosby HR-1000 maintain capacity during side pulls?
Yes. The Crosby HR-1000 maintains 100% of its working load limit from 0° to 90°, including side-pull applications.
