Crosby® G2130E Easy-Loc Bolt Type Anchor Shackles
The Crosby® G2130E Easy-Loc is a Grade 6 bolt type anchor shackle that replaces the traditional nut-and-cotter-pin securement with a tool-less locking collar that engages by hand - no wrenches required. Six sizes cover 1-3/4" through 4", from 25 to 150 metric tons.
For crews running production rigging, a loose cotter pin at height is a real hazard, not just an inconvenience. Bolt securement has to be checked before every lift to avoid dropped objects - the Easy-Loc collar removes that risk without adding a step to your rigging process.

How the Easy-Loc Locking System Works
Tool-less Collar Design
Securing a standard bolt type anchor shackle takes three separate pieces - bolt, nut, and cotter pin - plus at least one wrench. The Easy-Loc system replaces the nut and cotter pin with a locking collar that engages on the bolt by hand. Seat the bolt through the shackle eyes, engage the collar, and the connection is secured: no tools, no threaded nut to run down, and no cotter pin to bend, break, or drop.
Faster Release on Repetitive Rigging
Release is the same motion in reverse, and that is where the time compounds. On a setup that is rigged and de-rigged repeatedly through a shift, the crew is not stopping to hunt for a wrench or fish a replacement cotter pin out of the gang box.
Rated Capacity Is Unchanged
The Easy-Loc collar is a securing method, not a capacity compromise. Every G2130E carries its full Working Load Limit and its Grade 6 rating permanently marked on the bow, at a 6:1 design factor.

G2130E or G2140E?
The G2130E is the Grade 6 line. If you need more capacity at the same pin size, the G2140E is the alloy, Grade 8 performance line - a 2" pin is rated 35 tons on the G2130E versus 55 tons on the G2140E, and the G2140E range runs to 250 tons. The G2140E is also individually proof tested at every size, where the G2130E is individually proof tested at 85 tons and above. Where a lighter-duty, lower-cost shackle covers your load requirement, the G2130E is the better fit.

A worn or damaged bolt or collar does not have to mean replacing the whole shackle. Crosby supplies the Easy-Loc bolt and its locking collar under separate stock numbers, so you can replace only the part that is worn.
- Easy-Loc replacement collars - stocked for every G2130E size, 1-3/4" through 4". Crosby uses the same EZ-Loc collar stock number on the same-size G2130E and G2140E shackles, so one collar covers both lines at a matching pin size; the 1-3/4" and 2" G2130E shackles also share a single collar.
- Easy-Loc replacement bolt kits - stocked for all six G2130E sizes, each carrying its own Crosby stock number matched to the parent shackle.
After replacing any load-bearing hardware, fit only genuine Crosby® parts, inspect the shackle before it returns to service, and where required have a qualified person recertify it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the design factor on the G2130E?
6:1 across the full 25 to 150 ton range, with a maximum proof load of 2× the Working Load Limit.
Which G2130E sizes are individually proof tested?
Crosby individually proof tests the 85, 120, and 150 ton sizes to 2× the Working Load Limit. On the 25 ton size, 3.1 certification covering charpy and statistical proof test to EN 13889 is available as standard.
Can you side-load a G2130E shackle?
Easy-Loc shackles are designed to carry load along their centerline, and angular loading should be avoided wherever possible. Crosby publishes rated-capacity reductions for angular loading that vary by shackle size. Before side-loading, refer to the current Crosby warning and application instructions supplied with the product, and contact Crosby Engineering for any load applied beyond their published limits.
What temperature range is the G2130E approved for?
-40°F to 400°F (-40°C to 204°C). For low-temperature impact requirements, charpy testing of 31 ft-lb (42 Joules) average at -4°F (-20°C) is available on request at time of order.
