2" x 50' Ratchet Strap Tie Down
2 inch ratchet straps are a staple in the transportation industry - the polyester straps are rugged yet soft to protect your cargo, and the ratcheting mechanism makes it simple to achieve a tight, secure hold. They are incredibly versatile, filling the gap between lightweight 1" straps and heavy-duty 4" straps. The polyester webbing offers superior strength with very little give, along with UV- and water-resistance. And, unlike cam straps, ratchets don't rely solely on operator strength, so you can add the perfect amount of tension to the strap.

- Industrial-Grade Webbing: Webbing is thicker than most competitors, with more picks per inch.
- Superior Abrasion-Resistance: Heat-sealed ends provide better resistance to abrasion, tearing, and cutting.
- Built to Work Better: With a longer fixed end than most standard straps, you can position the ratchet further from the anchor point after wrapping around a rub rail. They also have a sewn loop built-in next to the ratchet for extra webbing - simply wrap up the excess strap and tuck it into the loop!
- Heavy-Duty Flat Hooks: Perfect for connecting to either your rub rail or under the edge of your truck / trailer. Wide contact area better distributes tie down force, and a built-in defender prevents webbing wear and tear.

WSTDA Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
Additionally, they define design factor as the "ratio of the breaking strength to the working load limit." The design factor is 3:1 for these tie down straps to build in a level of redundancy, accounting for unknown factors to keep you, your crew, and those around you safe.

The picture shows a long strap and you get a12’ strap!!!! The color sucks too they show more of a lime green and you get a jade green!!!! Sucks!!!!!

We buy these in different colours so that specific length straps are easily identified by our crew without the need to mark the strap or buckles. We buy straps in colour, then cut the strap tails to our required length before heat sealing the cut edge w/ a hot-knife to prevent fraying or unraveling. When we have a load ready to go, we can pull the straps out of storage by colour and know we have the perfect length for the job. This saves time in that you're not reeving a 27' strap through when your solour coded perfect length is in ready-to-go and quickly picked. Not having huge amounts of excess 'tail' means a cleaner load. It just works better for our operations.
Decent overall quality for this item and a good value for the dollar spent.
