Description
Crosby® 3.25 Ton Screw Pin Chain Shackles
The straight design of a chain shackle makes it the best choice for applications involving two-directional pulls. Multiple-load direction pulls can stress the sides and increase the risk of failure (use a bow or anchor shackle in these situations).The screw pin also allows for quick connect and disconnecting, making it great for temporary use or an attachment that requires repeated changes.
The USA-made Crosby forged steel shackle is quenched and tempered for superior strength and comes with an alloy pin.
This screw pin chain shackle is designed to perform. They can meet DNV impact requirements of 42 Joules (31 ft-lb) at 4°F / -20°C upon request, and can be furnished with proof-testing certificates to designated standards, such as DNV, ABS, Lloyds, etc. If you want this certification, please call to order and request the applicable testing.
G-210 Shackle Features
- Working load limit, Grade 6, PIC, and Crosby name on every shackle.
- Fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1-1/2 times the WLL.
- Meets performance requirements of Grade 6 shackles.
- Approved for use at temperatures between -40°F / -40°C and 400°F / 204°C.
