Angled L-track rails differ from traditional L-track in the design of the edges. While regular L-track has a rectangular, squared-off profile, angled track features sloping edges to make moving cargo across the track more smooth. This design is widely used for wheelchair tie downs in the transportation industry, and the sloped configuration is now gaining popularity for securing motorcycles, ATVs, delivery carts, and other wheeled cargo.
Our angled aluminum tracking is available in 12" and 100" lengths, but it can be cut to size to fit your needs. Track is manufactured with pre-drilled holes. All of our angled track is made from grade 6061-T6 aluminum for superior corrosion resistance. For additional track style options, see our L-track page.
Fittings are what make L-track so versatile, as they can be placed at any point along the track to create an instant tie down point. Track end cap and filler components are also available to fill in the track where it's not in use, to keep dirt and sand out, and to further reduce any bumps when moving across the surface (this is why it's also commonly known as "surface angled track" or "surface L-track" in the industry). Our entire selection of fittings and other add-on components can be seen on our Stud Fittings & Accessories page.
Please note: our angled L-track is designed for recreational and cargo control use; it is not certified for official wheelchair restraint use in buses, vans, and other transport vehicles.
