The combination of the square chain on the lock prevents thieves from getting a bolt cutter on the lock while the chain itself won't cut from a bolt cutter due to its design and hardness. This chain is very robust and designed to protect more industrial type items and facilities.
About Pewag security chain The Pewag 3/8" square security chain has been specially hardened to 62 HRC 10% deep, which makes it extremely tough to cut with any standard tools. Unlike standard round chain, the square design of this chain won't allow bolt cutters to cut through it.
About Viro security locks The Viro Panzer locks are extremely high quality security locks designed to work with our Pewag square security chain for maximum security. A unique design does not allow for any tools to get a grip to cut or open the lock. This lock is supplied with 3 Viro top security profile nickel-plated brass keys.
