Scaffold & Debris Netting
Debris Netting
Construction sites are busy, fast-moving environments where protecting workers, pedestrians, equipment, and surrounding property is critical. High-quality debris netting helps create a safer, more controlled worksite by containing small debris, reducing material fallout, and helping shield active construction areas from wind and sun exposure.
Whether you're working on a scaffolded building renovation, demolition project, or new construction site, debris netting for construction provides an effective barrier that can improve safety, reduce cleanup time, and support a more productive work environment.
At US Cargo Control, we offer durable, made-in-the-USA netting solutions from InCord, including construction debris nets, scaffold enclosures, and custom netting systems designed to meet the demands of today's construction industry.
What Is Debris Netting?
Debris netting is a protective mesh system installed around scaffolding, buildings, and work zones to help contain small debris and prevent it from leaving the construction area. It can also provide wind reduction, sun screening, and visual containment for active projects.
Common applications:
- Scaffold enclosures
- Building renovations
- Demolition projects
- High-rise construction
- Infrastructure projects
- Industrial maintenance
- Bridge construction
Both scaffold netting and vertical debris containment systems help create safer jobsite conditions for workers and the public while supporting cleaner, more efficient operations.
Benefits of Debris Netting for Construction
Help Protect Workers & the Public
One of the primary benefits of debris netting for construction is its ability to help contain small materials and debris that could otherwise leave the work area. This added protection helps reduce the risk of injury to workers, pedestrians, and nearby occupants.
Protect Nearby Property
Construction debris can damage vehicles, equipment, windows, landscaping, and surrounding structures. Properly installed construction debris nets help reduce the likelihood of costly property damage by containing debris at the source.
Improve Productivity
By helping contain materials within the work zone, debris netting can reduce time spent on cleanup and site maintenance. A cleaner worksite often leads to improved efficiency and fewer interruptions throughout the project.
Support Loss Prevention Strategies
Many contractors utilize build debris netting as part of a comprehensive safety and risk management program. Improved site control and reduced exposure to debris-related incidents can contribute to stronger safety performance and support loss prevention efforts.
NOTE: Debris Containment Only
Debris netting is not designed or rated for fall protection.
These products are intended to contain small debris, provide environmental screening, and help reduce the risk of objects leaving the work area. They should never be used as a personnel fall arrest system or as a substitute for properly designed fall protection equipment.
For worker fall protection applications, dedicated personnel safety nets and fall protection systems should be used.
