Grade 100 Rigging Hooks

Our Grade 100 lifting hooks are made by KWB, a Pewag company. Manufactured with a high-quality, European-made alloy, these rigging hooks are designed for overhead lifting applications. These Grade 100 hooks also have high visibility in the field due to their signal violet color.

Manufactured to high safety standards, G100 hooks meet or exceed ASTM A952 and OSHA 1910 standards. They are powder coated, giving them increased corrosion resistance.

With a higher wear-resistance due to increased hardness, there is increased durability with G100 chain and fittings. There is a 25% higher load capacity over Grade 80 with G100.

G100 lifting hooks pair well with our G100 or G80 chain. Keep in mind, WLL is determined by the lowest Grade level used in an assembly; if you pair a G100 hook with G80 chain, the WLL would be the determined by the G80 chain.

KWB chain and fittings offer traceability with appropriate marking on chains and components. Our chain sling assemblies come with a metal tag that notes the Grade, number of chain legs, individual chain sling number, chain diameter, and maximum working load limit (WLL).

Grab Hooks

Designed as shortening hooks in choke applications and for slings that must not tighten. Reduction of load capacity not required due to 4-fold safety. Comes in clevis or eye design.

Clevis Hook

Designed with a clevis and bolt or pin at the base to create a secure way to fasten the hook to a bracket or chain. General purpose hook that can be used without transition link or connecting link. Comes with forged safety latch or is self-locking. This style is KWB"s most popular.

Self-locking Hook

Offers greater safety than a latch hook, these automatically close and lock under load. Requires load to be grounded before load can be released. When used within the working load limit guidelines, a self-locking design ensures the hook will not open when under heavy load. Not for welded system.

Foundry Hook

Suitable for sling use, and in applications that require a uniform throat opening or where the hook may be subjected to tip loading. Before using this hook, check whether hooks without safety latches are allowed for your particular application.
