Choosing the Right Fasteners for E-Track Installation
Arguably, the most important part of your E-track system is the fasteners you choose! E-track rails do not have an established working load limit because their strength directly depends on the quality of their installation.
The best fastener option depends on the surface you are mounting to. If you're mounting into wood, make sure to use screws made specifically for wood. The same goes for metal. Also, consider through-bolting for the most secure install for heavy-duty applications.

Step-by-Step: How to Install E-Track
Step 1: Measure Placement
Start by measuring and marking where the E-track rails will be installed.
Your measurements don't need to be extremely precise, but they should be consistent so the rails run straight along the trailer.
Functionality matters more than exact measurements. The goal is to place rails where they will best secure your cargo.
Step 2: Check for Structural Support
Whenever possible, align the holes of the E-track rail with the structural framing of the trailer. Mounting directly into the trailer frame provides far more strength than fastening into plywood alone.
Before installing, do one last check that the rails are not in the way of ramps or door hardware that may require clearance.

Begin by installing a few screws at each end of the rail to hold it in place.
