Description
Made of type 316 stainless steel, these shoulder eye bolts are commonly used on boats or docks as a tie down loop, since they have great corrosion and oxidation resistance. Their low maintenance and luster also make them popular for architectural applications. Shoulder eyebolts can be used for either straight line or angular lifts, since the shoulder helps support the load as it pulls at an angle. The eyes of the steel eye bolt can accomodate wire rope, shackles and other rigging supplies.

Includes eye bolt, nut and washer.

Please Note:
Loading at an angle will significantly reduce a bolt's rated capacity; a 45 degree angle reduces it to just 1/4 of the stated rating. Never load at an angle greater than 45 degrees from the bolt center line.

Was happy to find this....

Ah, the power of the internet. If I had to drive to a local brick & mortar store for this, I'd still be looking. Was trying to find this item in brass, to replace a 60+ year old piece that broke. No luck, so I was happy to at least have found it in stainless steel. Rather pricey at $20, plus another $11 to ship it. But I was a desperate buyer, so I paid the ransom. Would have appreciated the website telling me what the thread (13) was.
