Description

12,000 lbs. Peerless QuikBinder Plus Ratcheting Chain Binder

This premium chain binder from trusted manufacturer Peerless is unique and designed with you in mind. When combined with transport chain, their ratchet chain binders are a popular choice for securing loads to flatbeds. Typically used for heavy equipment and other more robust loads, chain binders help get cargo from point A to point B safely.

Grade 70 / 80 / 100 Ratchet Binder Construction

One of the main advantages of this ratchet binder is the three-position pawl. It has three gears - ratchet extension, ratchet take-up, and free-spin. Free-spin mode lets you quickly adjust in either direction, so you can adjust the slack in the chain very quickly!

The folding handle lets you easily position it out of the way, and the QuikBinder Plus can even be padlocked (using a long-shank padlock) for theft prevention!

With forged, yellow zinc-plated grab hooks, a vinyl-coated barrel, and a high visibility yellow powder coat on the body, these Peerless ratchet binders are resistant to corrosion and the elements.

Why Choose a Ratchet Load Binder?

The primary difference between a ratchet binder and a lever binder is the tensioning method. A ratchet binder a ratcheting mechanism instead of leverage to add tension. This is by far the safer option - they store very little kinetic energy in the handle, reducing recoil and snapback-related injuries. They also allow for better control over the tension, as you can make more incremental adjustments, and don't require a handle lock.

Ratchet Binder Industry Compliance

All of our chain binders are FMCSA / DOT compliant and meet or exceed WSTDA T-6 Recommended Standards. This ensures quick identifications and stress-free inspections.

Compatible Transport Chain

Better than standard binders

I got four of these because of the forward/neutral/reverse lever. This feature works quite well however the folding handle is unnecessary in my opinion.
