Crosby® .75 Ton Round Pin Anchor Shackles
Anchor shackles from Crosby® are made in the USA with forged, hot dipped galvanized steel to resist corrosion. Alloy pins add strength.
This round pin anchor shackle is designed to perform. They can meet DNV impact requirements of 42 Joules (31 ft-lb) at 4°F / -20°C upon request, and can be furnished with proof-testing certificates to designated standards, such as DNV, ABS, Lloyds, etc. If you want this certification, please call to order and request the applicable testing.
Why Choose Round Pin Anchor Shackles?
Round pin anchor shackles are a good option for applications where the pin may be subjected to torque or twisting, but not for situations where it will be subjected to an axial load. The rounded bow allows for loads from multiple directions without developing excessive side load. Excellent for connecting slings to load rings, or for use with wider straps or multiple-leg slings. Anchor bow shackles have a wider shape than D shaped shackles and are mainly used on multi-leg rigging systems. A round pin secures with a removeable cotter pin.
