Bolthold eAK-4 Asphalt Anchor Kit w/ 4 SP10-38 Anchors & Epoxy Grout
The Bolthold eAK-4 asphalt anchor kit delivers a complete, job-ready solution for anchoring fixtures directly into asphalt surfaces. This kit includes SP10-38 asphalt anchors paired with epoxy grout to ensure proper installation and dependable holding strength. Each anchor comes pre-installed with a 1" hex bolt and 1" diameter washer, making it ideal for mounting bike racks, signage, machinery, and similar equipment into asphalt.
Load anchors to no more than 80% of rated pull strength when the structure is self-supporting. If the structure applies a static pull force on the anchors, limit loading to 20% of the rated pull strength.
eAK-4 Asphalt Anchor Kit - Epoxy-Set Flush Mount Anchoring
Designed specifically for asphalt applications, the Bolthold eAK-4 kit removes guesswork by pairing SP10-38 anchors with compatible epoxy grout. The anchors install flush with the surface and feature a wide top header that prevents pull-through, while allowing mounted items to be removed cleanly without leaving surface obstructions.

Installation Tips
- Drill a 7/8" diameter hole to a depth of 6" for proper anchor embedment.
- Ensure the bolt length inside the anchor does not exceed 3".
- Inject epoxy grout fully and allow proper cure time before applying load.

We installed 16 seperate bolts in an hour with no mess and no fuss. 1 hour later it was cured and we installed our stands. A+
Worked good. But once you use the epoxy grout, be ready to use the whole tube. Sets up fast in applicator.
The quality of everything looks great. I like the design of the anchors so that they don’t pull back up through baseplate holes. It cured quickly but had plenty of time to do 4 holes before noticing hardening. I can’t speak for the strength or longevity since it’s only been a week but so far I’d buy again. Also ended up using in concrete because asphalt above concrete footing was so thin about an inch.
