Description
L-Track, also known as airline track or logistic track is an excellent method for creating strong and secure tie-down anchor points in your van, truck, or trailer. Manufactured in a lightweight, high strength aluminum, L-track tie-down track offers strength in a narrower profile than E-track tie-down rails but is strong enough to secure motorcycles, ATVs, utility tractors, and more. The 4-foot length has 10 pre-drilled mounting holes and accommodates both single stud fittings and double stud fittings making it easy to create a tie-down system customized to your needs.
L-Track Features
- The holes are 100 degrees countersunk
- Can be quickly secured with our 10-piece fastener pack
Our 48" Aluminum L-Track is also available in a black powder-coated finish. Check out our L-Track Tie Down Rails page for even more L-Track size and color configurations.
Don't forget to browse our large selection of L-Track Fittings and Accessories and L-Track Straps to find everything you need to build your own custom L-Track system.
What's the Load Rating on This L-Track?
Due to the many variables involved in installing L-track - the fasteners used, the mounting surface, etc. - we cannot provide a blanket working load limit. The track is designed to be at least as strong as any of the compatible straps and fittings we sell to use with it, but it is up to the installer to determine that the track is properly installed to provide sufficient strength. If you need assistance with this, consult your trailer manufacturer for installation suggestions. For more information, please refer to WSTDA T-5 section 3.4.
For more information on how to use and install L-track (including video demonstrations!), see our How to Use and Install L-Track and L-Track Systems page.
Please note: our L-track is designed for recreational and cargo control use; it is not certified for official wheelchair restraint use in buses, vans, and other transport vehicles.

Easy to use; installed correctly, it is strong and secure.
I've purchased several orders L track from U.S. Cargo Control. Its strong and is resource for tying down loads or tie-downs providing security for shop/garage elements susceptible to earthquake damage.
I saw this track in a store once, and thought it might work nice in my pickup. I now don't know how I got along without it. Makes tying things down ( which I do every day!) a breeze, and makes my life simpler.Highly recommend. I had questions on this, and they were answered quickly and efficiently.
