Description

Designed for heavy-duty jobs were abrasion is a concern, the 2" wide polyester webbing is fitted with chain anchors to extend the working life of the strap. The 5/16" x 18 chain (grade 70 transport chain) has grab hooks on each end. Ratchet assembly features a black and yellow zinc frame; long, wide handle has finger grips for comfort when tightening. Meets or exceeds WSTDA and DOT guidelines; sewn-in tag lists working load limit information.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
