Description
Durable polyester rope is extremely strong, flexible, spliceable, and resistant to most chemicals, oils, gasoline, and grease. It stands up well to UV rays and won't weaken or discolor with sun exposure like nylon and some natural fiber ropes can. Its low water absorbency creates only a slight loss of strength when wet and it will not mold, mildew or rot. Polyester twisted rope does not have the stretch and elasticity of nylon, but it is superior to nylon for abrasion resistance, so it's ideal for high friction uses like rigging and string line. Also great for tree rope, truck rope, antenna guy lines and common utility rope.
