Marine Snap Shackles

Our pin-release snap shackles feature a spring-loaded pin that must be pulled to engage the opening. Because the pin design is captive- meaning it's built into the shackle- it can't be dropped and lost. This is an essential design element of rigging equipment, particularly marine equipment, since it eliminates the risk of dropping the pin into the water.

Snap Shackle Construction

Made from precision-cast type 316 stainless steel, these snap shackles are perfect for marine and other high-moisture environments. 316 stainless steel has a larger amount of molybdenum compared to 304 stainless steel, making the metal more rust- and corrosion-resistant.

We offer four styles for every application: swivel eye, swivel jaw, fixed, and rope. The swivel snap hooks can rotate 360°, and the rope style has a rope-friendly end, perfect for sailing use.
